“Rudolph” turns 50 tonight!

Arthur Rankin and Jules Bass created “Rudolph” in 1964 using a technique they called “animagic.” It was filmed in Japan.

Of course, ABC is on the Naughty List for airing Rankin and Bass’ “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” at the same time. So DVR ABC tonight.
