You can CHANGE the fight against cancer

Please join the fight against cancer by making a donation to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Greater Cranberry Township.

While cancer affects anyone, it does not affect everyone equally. Data shows cancer affects some minority populations and those without adequate health care more than other populations.

Among the initiatives your donations support include the American Cancer Society’s Community Health Advocates implementing Nationwide Grants for Empowerment and Equity (CHANGE) Grant Program. This effort “builds community and system capacity to promote health equity, access and navigation to screening resources within underserved communities,” according to the organization’s website.

In addition to donating, you may consider purchasing a luminaria in honor or memory of a loved one who has faced cancer.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Greater Cranberry Township is planned for July 22 at North Boundary Park in Cranberry. Kickoff is at 10 a.m., but listed below are highlights for when you might want to stop by!
