As a local news editor with the Tribune-Review, I helped to lead the company’s digital initiatives through social media and online content. Most recently, I have been part of a team to launch the company’s local digital news network that offers hyperlocal news for targeted regional zones. While doing this, I continue to story develop, edit, report, and produce and manage digital content and social media.

With the Trib, I have covered a range of beats including business, education, government, and have continued to produce breaking news.

In addition to the Trib, I curate vertical newsletters for San Francisco-based Inside.com, targeting news, technology and science. I also serve as a lead volunteer with the American Cancer Society, working to expand the nonprofit organization’s mission and message through traditional and social media outreach. I have served various roles locally and nationally for the nonprofit organization, have led successful fundraising campaigns and regularly lead training development for volunteers.
